The food was amazing! We got the Taiwanese popcorn chicken, cashew chicken, and their garlic noodles—everything was so good. The place itself is really nice and conveniently located right by the Pearl. We couldn’t stop talking about our dinner even after we left and would definitely go back!
Unique take on Asian cuisines . I liked my dish — drunken noodle red curry mole —- very interesting , and you won’t stop eating . The creamy coconut tom yum noodles felt like too much oily, but it is super creamy , little cheesy after taste …. We would try something else , wasn’t for our tastebuds — hard to eat the entire dish. Inside was very nice and packed, but we had our dog so we sat outside . Great for a date night and family night .
A very relaxing little place on the edge of the pearl. We enjoyed several sides and entrées and shared them between the three of us. Also indulged in a few cocktails. Everything was delicious and the service was fantastic! We stayed for 3 hours visiting and chatting. The restaurant started to get really busy and we never once were we bothered by the staff. This place is also not over priced like many places at the Pearl district.
This restaurant turns food into memories I will never forget. The taste is matched only by the charm of the place! We had the Roasted Brussels sprouts which were cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce, a definite 10/10! We ordered the creamy coconut Tom Yum noodles and the Cashew Chicken, also 10/10…every bite = happiness! Words are difficult to come by to describe just how delicious everything was! We finished it off with a strawberry lychee and Vietnamese ice cream sandwich. So delicious also! A definite stop if you are in the Pearl area of San Antonio!
Very cool atmosphere/place and those potstickers were probably the best I've had. The mochi cheddar hush puppies and popcorn chicken were hits and we enjoyed the salt and pepper shrimp and the drunken noodle curry mole. Ice cream sandwiches were interesting! Service was outstanding.
I was really excited to finally try this place after hearing so many great reviews. It’s a charming, cozy spot set in a house from the early 1900s right in the Pearl District. Definitely recommend making a reservation if you’re going on the weekend. Our waiter was super friendly and took the time to walk us through the dishes we were curious about, which I appreciated. We started with the Korean corn cheese spring rolls…absolutely a 10/10, so delicious! We also ordered the smashed cucumber salad. Since I make this at home pretty often, it didn’t stand out to me, so I’d give it a 5/10. For our main, we went with the salt and pepper shrimp. The crisp was perfect, so I’d rate it 8/10. We’ve had this dish elsewhere with a little more flavor, but the dipping sauce they serve it with added a nice kick. We also tried the fried rice (not pictured), which was solid…about a 7/10. As for cocktails, I had the margarita and the “Swear on Your Jade.” They were fine but nothing memorable…5/10 for both. Overall, it’s a really cute spot for date night or even a casual lunch if you’re nearby. We’ll definitely be back to try a few more dishes!
